OPTIM 33TB, from SciCan, is a ready to use surface cleaner and intermediate level disinfectant. OPTIM 33TB is also a 1 minute virucide and bactericide and is formulated with Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide (AHP), a globally patented technology and is the disinfectant chemistry of choice in dental operatories around the world.
Not unlike antibiotics, disinfectants are under fire for not being as effective as they used to be and as new strains of organisms arrive regularly, new weapons must be deployed. Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide is a patented synergistic blend of commonly used, safe ingredients that when combined with low levels of hydrogen peroxide dramatically increase its germicidal potency and cleaning performance. The ingredients are all listed on the USA’s EPA Inerts lists and the FDA Generally Regarded as Safe List (GRAS). Still powered by SciCan’s signature steam technology to provide sterilization and dryness at speeds faster than conventional chambered autoclaves, the STATIM has been drastically upgraded with a level of interactivity not seen before.
New look
The STATIM has been modernized with a new fascia that is fresh and contemporary. The bubble level has been removed from the decal and been integrated into the virtual LCD screen.
Colour touch screen
A large 3.5” high-resolution touchscreen offers a vivid display of messages and current cycle information all with extraordinary clarity.
Built-in datalogger
Gone are the days of messy thermal paper, clumsy printers or potential failures with external data loggers. With increasing stringency amongst national guidelines, the STATIM G4 now saves all the data from each cycle. This data can be copied onto a USB drive, viewed on screen or from an Internet web browser. If you prefer an external printer, the G4 is still equipped with a rear mounted RS232 connector allowing for external printers or additional data loggers.
Process enforced usage
Patient safety relies on attention to detail. The STATIM G4 supports verifiable processes that are PIN protected with user-defined IDs so that staff members can be required to authorize a cycle. This encourages extra attention to process and creates a safer environment for both staff and patients.
STATIM G4 technology
STATIM meets the Internet – the G4 is equipped with a web interface that enables online access. Notifications can also be distributed to email addresses specified by the end-user notifying cycle completion and other autoclave messages. This will dramatically reduce any down time if the STATIM requires attention.
